Summer Reno Wows
The Food Bank closed for two weeks in July to make some big improvements to the facility. Our dedicated volunteers put their heads together to find resourceful (read: low-cost) ways to make the food bank safer and more efficient.
Queen West Art Crawl Welcomes FYFB
A big "thanks" to Artscape, the organizers of the Art Crawl, and the amazing artists who kindly donated their work for our silent auction. It was the first time FYFB participated in the Art Crawl but it won't be the last.
Running for the Food Bank
For the third year in a row, FYFB participated in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. This September we had 11 runners on our team and they raised more than $2,500. Next year we hope to have twice as many runners.
FYFB.com 2.0 Goes Live
With the kind assistance of local design company xguru Inc. and local photographer Claire Del Net, FYFB is proud to announce the launch of our revitalized Web site.
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
With the holidays fast approaching, FYFB is organizing a food and fundraising drive at grocery stores within our service area. We're finalizing details now so stay tuned for more information.
