Winter Relief Fund

Thank you to those who donated to FYFB's Winter Relief Fund - together we raised nearly $28,000 to help those in need in our community through one of the toughest seasons.

The lucky recipient of the Jason Alexander painting is former FYFB board member Lindsay Watt. Congratulations!

Porter Novelli giftTrevor Campbell, president of Porter Novelli Canada presents a matching cheque to FYFB board member and PN staffer, Jennifer Wasley. "As an organization we value community involvement and I'm so proud of the team spirit my staff showed during the TTC Blitz that it was impossible not to make a matching donation."

TTC Blitz: Changing the Value of Change

On April 4 more than 40 volunteers poured into eight downtown subway stations to collect change from commuters. In all, more than $9,000 was raised to help FYFB feed the hungry and keep people on track. Corporate volunteer teams were on hand from Blakes; Cassels Brock; Fraser Milner Casgrain; McCarthy Tetrault; McMillan Binch Mendelsohn; Osler Hoskin Harcourt; and, Porter Novelli.
