What's Happening @ FYFB

Holidays Are About Friendship

We want to thank all our friends for their support of FYFB over the holidays. Through your generosity, our annual Holiday Fund Appeal raised more than $29,000 to help people living in poverty in downtown Toronto.

Special holiday food hampers are always the highlight for our clients. With your support and the ongoing support from Chai Kosher Poultry and the CP24 Chum Christmas Wish Foundation, we had the best hampers ever with three pieces of turkey, cheese, eggs, extra milk, butter and Christmas candy in every food basket. While this may seem modest in the homes of many families at Christmas, these food baskets help create special holiday memories.

We want to thank our friends at Tourism Toronto for raising more than $4,000 to set the pace for this year's Holiday Fund. Thank you for helping make a difference in the lives of so many over the holidays.

Winter Relief Fund

When the glow of the holidays fades away, FYFB and our clients face the harsh reality of a cold winter in downtown Toronto. No time of the year is more challenging for our clients.

FYFB Winter Relief FundOur Winter Relief Fund is off to a strong start with more than $4,000 in donations facilitated by our friends at Charity Intelligence. But we still need to raise an additional $15,000 by the end of March to ensure we can meet the needs of our clients. Even if you donated to the Holiday Fund Appeal, we'd encourage you to support the Winter Relief Fund and add a little warmth to winter of people living in poverty in our neighbourhood.

You can make a difference in our community by donating securely online through the Canada Helps website or by mailing or dropping off your donation at:
